1.

  • Investigate and plan the podcast. Write the script

  • Arrange the logistics (recording space)

What to do first add resources or make the podcast?

(Chicken & egg Problem) Add resources first...

  • Upload and edit images in iPhoto;

  • Identify or create jingles (loops) in Garageband

  • Open Garageband and choose make a "podcast"

  • Click on MALE or FEMALE and the RED BUTTON to record script

  • Stop by clicking on the SPACE BAR or the FORWARD ARROW (PLAY button)

  • Rewind and listen to the recording

  • Edit by moving the hairline and use the EDIT-->SPLIT command to split the recording so that the undesired section is split from desired recorded voice.

  • Click on the undesired section to highlight it and hit the DELETE key. It is removed.

  • Slide the two voice tracks together and listen to the track.

  • Use EDIT-->JOIN to join the tracks into one.

5.

  • DRAG any desired jingle or loops to the JINGLES track and/or

  • DRAG still images from iPhoto to the PODCAST track

  • Adjust the timing

  • SHARE by send the podcast to iTunes, to iWeb or to disk.
